Form Types

When creating a form, a Form Type must be selected. The Form Type determines which pages a form can be printed from.

If a form uses fields from multiple categories (Company, Auction, Buyer, etc.), the overall Form Type will be the same as the Form Type of the most specific field on the form. For example, if a form has Auction and Buyer fields, the form will be a Buyer Type because that field is more specific. As such, the form will only be accessible from Buyer Form locations.

Wavebid Form Types:

  • Company
  • Auction
  • Buyer/Lot/Seller (Same level)
  • Invoice
  • Invoice Item

Form Types can be viewed by navigating to My Links > Company > Form Builder > Forms.

Turn Off Bidder Paddles

Once a Bidder Paddle form is created, Wavebid will automatically generate a paddle card for each bidder checked in to any auction, which creates a printing pop-up on the check-in page. To turn this feature off, navigate to the Bidder Paddle form (My Links > Company > Form Builder > Forms) and select the blank option from the Form Subtype drop-down. Click the Disk icon in the top right corner of the page to Save.

This will stop the printing pop-up from appearing when a bidder is checked in. To resume the feature again, navigate back to the Bidder Paddle form and select Bidder Paddle from the Form Subtype drop-down.
