Reports and Lists

This article describes reports and lists available to users in Wavebid at both the company and auction level.

Auction Level


Reports accessed from the auction workspace provide a wide variety of information specific to that auction event. Certain reports do allow for bulk actions or changes.

Reports can be accessed by navigating to the applicable auction from the Dashboard and then selecting Accounting > Reports.

Priced Inventory Sheet

The Priced Inventory Sheet (PIS Report) shows information relating to lots, clerking, bidders, sellers, invoices, etc. The report lists the information for each separate lot and is an excellent resource when trying to locate any potential discrepancies in an auction.

  • Click on the column headers to change the order of items as they appear on the report.
  • Columns can be added or remove from a report by clicking the Columns button in the top right corner of the page. Click on a column header to add or remove it. 
  • To export, click the Export button in the top right corner of the page and then select the export type.

Vehicle Title Report

The Vehicle Title Report displays lot information for every lot in the auction for which Title Tracking has been turned on. To access the report, navigate to the applicable auction from the Dashboard, then select Catalogs > Vehicle Title Report. For more information, see Managing Vehicle Titles.

 

 

Company Level


Credit Transaction Report

Customer Lists

Lists of Buyers/Bidders and Sellers can be generated in Wavebid that can be narrowed to a particular event or timeframe, or can encompass all of a company's Buyers and/or Sellers. Only Company Admins can generate a Customer List.

  1. Navigate to My Links > Company > Customers > Lists.
  2. Use the various fields under the Auction, Customer, and Lot tabs to filter results as needed.
    • To generate a list of Sellers, select Seller from the Customer Type drop-down. Additional fields can be used to narrow the Sellers. If no other options are selected, it will generate a list of the registered Sellers (customers assigned a Seller Code) the company has used in Wavebid.
    • To generate a list of Buyers/Bidders, select Buyer from the Customer Type drop-down. Additional fields can be used to narrow the Buyers. If no other options are selected, it will generate a list of all the registered Bidders (customers assigned a Paddle Number) the company has used in Wavebid.
    • To generate the entire Customer List, click the Search button without using any filters.
  3. Click the Search button to view the results.

Permanent Buyers

To view a list of all of a company's permanent buyers, navigate to My Links > Company > Customers > Permanent Buyers.

 

Permanent Sellers

To view a list of all of a company's permanent sellers, navigate to My Links > Company > Customers > Permanent Sellers.

 

All Auctions

Wavebid has reporting functions that allow companies to search for data across all their Wavebid auctions. The following reports are available by navigating to My Links > Company > All Auctions. Only Company Admins will be able to access the All Auctions reports.

  • All Auction Sales by State: Enter a date range or a state to see all of the events that occurred during that time frame or within that state. The report displays the total number of invoices in the event, total sales, and a breakdown of the sales made in state compared to sales made out of state.
  • All Auctions- Sellers: This expense report can be filtered by event, date, and seller information. The report will display the event name, auction ID, seller information, total due, total paid, and balance due.
  • All Expenses: This expense report can be filtered by event, expense code, bill type, merchant, or date and displays all the resulting expense amounts and details.
  • All Invoices: This report can be filtered by event, date range, payment status, shipping status, or based on a bidder's information. The report will display invoice, number, bidder information, stats, date, and event name.
  • All Lots: This report can be filtered by event, date, keyword, and by bidder or seller information. The report will display lot number, lot photo, event dates, lot description, bidder or seller name, quantity, and sale type. If the search yield more that 2,000 results, click the Download button to view all results.
  • All Payments: This report can be filtered by event, date, payment method, amount, and bidder information. The report will display event name, bidder information, payment details, clerk name, and notes. This report only shows bidder payments and does not include seller payments. Amounts in parentheses indicate outgoing payments (ex. refunds).
  • All Seller Payments: This report can be filtered by event, date, and seller name. The report will display event name, seller information, payment details, clerk name, and notes. This report only shows seller payments and does not include bidder payments.
  • All Titles: This report can be filtered by event, title date, title type, title status, and lien information. The report will display event name, lot number, inventory number, VIN, category, description, title information, buyer, and seller.
  • Auction Summary: This report can be filtered by event, date, or Sales Manager. For more information, see Auction Summary Report.
  • Tax Summary: This report can be filtered by event or by date. For more information, see Tax Summary Report.

The Search field at the top of the search results list can be used to search for an item on any of the reports above. AllReportsSearchField.PNG

Click on the column headers to change the order of items as they appear on any report.
