Wavebid allows for companies to create a Clerking Sheet for clerks to use during an auction. This allows clerks to quickly and easily fill in the necessary information by hand for entry later, or as a back-up for information entered during the auction. This article describes the process for creating different types of Clerking Sheets. For information on using Wavebid to clerk, see Clerking.

Create a Clerking Sheet
- Navigate to the appropriate auction from the Dashboard and then select Accounting > Clerking Sheet.
- On the Clerk Sheet Options page, drag and drop column headers from the Header, Body, and Footer tabs to the applicable Columns field below.
- To remove a column from a section, drag the column header back to the appropriate tab.
- Drag and drop column headers within the applicable Columns field to rearrange them.
- Header Columns will be repeated at the top of each clerking sheet.
- Body Columns will display in table format and will be automatically populated with information from all of the Lots in the auction.
- Footer Columns will appear below the body table on each clerking sheet.
- Select the desired options from the Options panel on the right side of the page. The options here can change the layout of the clerking sheet.
- Font Size: Used to increase or decrease the font size. Percentages higher than 100 will increase font size, while those lower will decrease font size.
- Sort Lots By: Used to determine the order in which lots will appear. The default is for lots to appear in their sequence number.
- Group Lots By: Used to determine the lot grouping. The default is for lots to All Lots to appear.
- Lots Per Clerking Sheet: Enter the number of lots that should appear on each clerking sheet. The default is 20 lots.
- Starting Clerking Sheet #: Each clerking sheet page will be numbered. Enter the first number to be used. The default is 1.
- Fit # Rows Per Page: Enter the number of rows that should appear on each page.
- Size: Select a paper size from the drop-down.
- Orientation: Select an orientation for the Clerking Sheet.
- Include Unpaid Lots: Select this option to include lots from unpaid invoices (or invoices with partial payments) on the clerking sheet.
- Include Paid Lots: Select this option to include lots from fully paid invoices on the clerking sheet.
- Include Auctioneer Lots: Select this option to include lots from any sellers designated as being an "Auctioneer". For more information, see Seller Check-In.

Generate Empty Lots: Select this option to have the clerking sheet generate empty lots if the total number of current lots is below that of the estimated number of lots entered when the event was created.
- For example, if lots 1 and 3 have been created, but lot 2 has not, the clerking sheet will generate a blank lot for lot 2.
- Show Clerk Sheet Number: To generate a clerking sheet for a particular page, enter the page in this field and then click the Build Clerk Sheet button to the right of the field.
- Once options have been selected, click the Printer icon in the top right corner of the page to print the clerking sheet(s).
- A PDF will open in a new tab. From there, the document can be viewed and printed.

Create a Blank Clerking Sheet
Wavebid also has the option to generate a blank Clerking Sheet so that companies can clerk using paper, if preferred. A Blank Clerking Sheet will still contain the Header, Body, and Footer columns selected, but will not be auto-populated with Lot information.
- Navigate to the appropriate auction from the Dashboard and then select Accounting > Clerking Sheet.
- Click the Generate Blank Sheet button in the top right corner of the page. A pop-up window will appear.
- Click the Ok button to continue.
- A PDF will open in a new tab. From there, the document can be viewed and printed.
Legacy Clerking Sheet
For long-time Wavebid users who may prefer the Legacy Clerking Page, the option to print the old version is available by clicking the Classic Clerking Sheet button in the top right corner of the page.

- Click the Reset button to revert all of the Clerking Sheet options back to default and clear out all of the selected columns. After clicking, a pop-up message will appear. Click the Ok button to continue.
- Click the Summary button to view the Clerking Sheet Summary page. A new page will load. Click the Printer icon in the top right corner of the page to Print.
- Click the Clear button to clear the Clerking Sheet numbers. After clicking, a pop-up message will appear. Click the Ok button to continue. A confirmation window will appear. Click the Ok button again to confirm.
