Create a Marketing Task

NOTE : Linking accounts only needs to be done the first time and will require the assistance of GoToAuction and a Wavebid company administrator.

Configure your GoToAuction Account

  1. Login to your GoToAuction account
  2. Click Manage Company Profile
  3. Click Manage Wavebid Feed Profilemceclip0.png
  4. Enter the login information for your Company Administrator for the Manage Wavebid API Settings
    • Click Savemceclip0.png

Configure your Wavebid Account

  1. From the Dashboard, go to My Links > Company > Partner Management 
  2. Select the Marketing Tab
  3. Click Add GoToAuction Account.mceclip0.png
  4. Enter the Scope of the account:
    • Company Wide: All the users of your company will be able to publish using this GoToAuction account.
    • User Only: Only the current Wavebid user will be able to publish using this GoToAuction account and other Wavebid users will need to configure their own GoToAuction account.
  5. Type in your GoToAuction CompanyID
  6. Save these settings.


Create a Marketing Task                                                                   

  1. In the Dashboard, go to your auction, Marketing > Tasks.

  2. In the Online section, click Add New Task.

  3. A window will now pop-up:

      • What type of task do you want to add?
        • Select GoToAuction
      • Task Name
        • Can be anything you want, most people pick GoToAuction
      • Date
        • When the task should happen.
        • Please keep in mind Wavebid will not run the task automatically.
      • GoToAuction
        • Select the External Account
