GoToAuction allows marketing of auctions without manually exporting and updating to their site. This article describes the process for linking to Wavebid and marketing an auction with GoToAuction.com.

Linking an Account
Linking accounts only needs to be done once.
Configure a GoToAuction Account
- Login to the GoToAuction account.
- Click the Edit Profile tab.
- Click the Manage Wavebid Feed Profile link.
- Under the Manage Wavebid API Settings section, enter the Wavebid login information associated with the auction house's Company Administrator account.
- Click the Save button.
Configure a Wavebid Account
- From the Dashboard, navigate to My Links > Company > Partner Management.
- Click on the Marketing tab.
- Click the Add GoToAuction Account link.
- Enter the Scope of the account:
- Company Wide: All the users of a company will be able to publish using this GoToAuction account. A user will need to have Company Admin authority in order to select this scope.
- User Only: Only the current Wavebid user will be able to publish using this GoToAuction account and other Wavebid users will need to configure their own GoToAuction account.
- Type in the GoToAuction CompanyID.
- Click the Save button.
Create a Marketing Task
A Marketing Task will need to be run in order to push auction details to GoToAuction.

Navigate to the applicable auction from the Dashboard, then select Marketing > Tasks.

In the Online section, click the Add New Task link.

A pop-up window will open:

What type of task do you want to add?
- Select GoToAuction.

Task Name
- Can be anything, ex. "GoToAuction task".

Date
- When the task should run.
- Please keep in mind Wavebid will not run the task automatically.

GoToAuction
- Select the External Account.

- Click the Save button to run the task.
